Dr Kalpesh Jani is heading the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology, Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery at Sunshine Global Hospital, Vadodara. He is a qualified super specialist in the field of laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. He has published more than 50 papers in national and international journals. He is an invited faculty at state, national and international conferences. He is on the editorial board of the reputed academic journals like World Journal of Gastroenterology, World Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery, Clinical Reviews and Opinions, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Journal of Minimal Access Surgery, Surgical Laparoscopy, Endoscopy and Percutaneous Techniques, etc. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is also a founding member and the President of the Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI). He runs an active obesity management program for the last 8 years.
